<![CDATA[T-Display-S3 battery charge sources]]>I'm pretty sure I see the answer, although I don't understand the schematic fully.

I am looking for an alternative power source pin to charge the on-board battery despite the USB port.
However it looks like TP4056 only receives power from VBATT which is directly connected to the USB-C interface chip...

Naively I hoped that I can power the project on the 5V pin and make it optionally portable by always having a full battery if I disconnect it...

Any tips?
